AE Riley is your partner in your academic search effort. Our team develops a search committee to organize and manage the search process.
AE Riley works with all relevant parties to set search goals and timelines. We meet with appropriate teams within your organization to ensure that the search process follows all applicable regulations, requirements, and cultural goals.
AE Riley starts each search by learning the history, culture, strengths, and challenges of our your school or university. We meet with key stakeholders, including trustees, faculty, students, staff, alumni, and community leaders, in order to develop a perspective on who you're looking for.
AE Riley reviews the qualifications required for your open position. Each candidate is reviewed to make sure they meet the criteria of our search pool, and we search locally, nationally, and globally in order to provide you with the best talent. Applications are handled by our team, taking the onus off of your HR department.
AE Riley helps narrow your candidate pool through a round-by-round interview and evaluation session. AE Riley consultants are present for each interview, whether it's conducted in person or via videoconference. Our team will then select finalist candidates, conduct background checks, and check references. Finalists will be introduced to their prospective hiring managers in order to begin the final hiring process.
When all interviews are completed, AE Riley works to bring the search to a conclusion and implement a final placement. Our team will help develop final recommendations to all relevant stakeholders in order to create an ideal placement situation. These range from evaluations of communications strategies, transition plans, and introductions to outgoing transitions for the previous holder of the position.
